The idea of the phrase ‘my plate’ was given to me by a 2 and a half year old girl, referring to her body. I have adopted this simple metaphor, in order to be able to communicate to children directly and to teach them the very important message of respecting their bodies and other’s bodies and provide them with the encouragement to express their feelings about what is happening to their bodies..
This book is for parents everywhere. The book is recommended reading to 2-3 year olds by a parent or an older sibling.
